Fringe Benefits was established in 2004 by co-founders Ruth Zabel, Melanie Nick and Rachel Nick. Together with our team of more than 12 staff and volunteers dedicated to fulfilling our cause, we manage a 10,000 sq. ft. store and an estate sale service with all proceeds to benefit animal welfare and nature conservancy programs.
Fringe Benefits has earned and maintains a reputation for offering a unique thrift shopping experience in a friendly atmosphere. We offer an abundance of clean, quality merchandise that is featured in well organized, boutique-style displays and sold at thrifty prices.
Fringe Benefits Thrift Store creates on-going funding to benefit all animals through humane programs, organizations and sheltering. We enhance animal welfare and contribute to the preservation of wildlife and natural habitat. The funds we raise are distributed to non-profit animal welfare organizations and nature preserves & conservancies through our grant program.
If your organization is interested in receiving a grant, please visit our Grants page for more information and to fill out an application.
We also rely on the generosity of people to volunteer their time at Fringe Benefits. If you're interested in joining our team, please complete an application.
Fringe Benefits relies on new and gently used items donated by the general public and local businesses. All proceeds generated by customers who frequent the store and our estate sales support our mission to help animals in need.
