Any 501(c)3 non-profit organization involved in animal welfare and/or nature preservation/conservancy may apply to receive a grant from Fringe Benefits (organizations under the advanced ruling period will be considered). All grant applications are reviewed by the Fringe Benefits Board of Directors.
HOW AND WHEN DO I APPLY?
The Fringe Benefits Grant application period is open January 1 through March 31 of the year that funding will be granted. Applications must be submitted within these dates to be considered to receive a grant for the corresponding year. Each applying organization may submit one application per grant period and funding can be requested for multiple uses that benefit the organization. Grants are awarded in denominations up to $3,000 per applicant. Our grant application can be found below.
WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO PROVIDE?
All applicants must include proof of your 501(c)3 status, detailed financial statements for the current and most recently completed fiscal year, contact information for your organization or that of a registered agent and a detailed summary of your request - please attached additional forms for your application as needed.
WHEN WILL I KNOW IF OUR APPLICATION IS APPROVED?
All grant applications are reviewed in detail by the Fringe Benefits Board of Directors. This process can take up to 3 months.
